Nothing you can say that can't be sung

How many of you use discount codes when shopping? Vouchercodes has great online codes for stores like ASOS, MyWardrobe, and Liberty, as well as printable vouchers for restaurants like Pizza Express, so you can afford to shop and eat out! At the moment they are offering an amazing 30% off at Gap, as well as other discounts at All Saints and Oasis. The best thing is that the site is completely free and really easy to use - what could be simpler?
I've got a lot of things to look forward to this year (like Thailand and America!) but that also means I'll be needing to save lots of money when updating my wardrobe. Here are my top five picks for 2010, all under £40.
1. LACE DRESS, £38, TOPSHOP.
Lace has already proven to be big this winter, and I predict the trend will continue this spring, in lighter, softer shades of pink and cream. I love this dress so much, it's perfectly girly and looks just like Alexa's!
2. FLORAL SKATER DRESS, £25, NEW LOOK
Skater dresses + florals = that's going to be a winner right? I saw someone wearing this dress on lookbook, then looked it up to find it was only £25, so I think it's my favourite I've seen yet!
3. FLORAL LEGGINGS, £20, TOPSHOP

I've always been a fan of florals and I think these leggings would look great with everything, from bright t-shirts and blazers to simple black bodycon, so I think they're pretty good for £20! Only problem is which colour to choose?
4. BRETON TOP, £18, ASOS
Breton tops are a great basic to have in your wardrobe and are always chic, if you haven't got one already I suggest you move this to top of your list!
5. ALPHABET TIGHTS, £10, HOUSE OF HOLLAND AT URBAN OUTFITTERS
Tights are probably the easiest way to update your look and these are available in loads of crazy cool designs elsewhere on the internet as well, all at a bargain price. Plus THEY'RE BY HENRY HOLLAND!
I hope you enjoyed this post and visit the voucher codes website! x

21st century girl, holding on for dear life

You've probably heard, but Alexa has her own (yes, her own) Mulberry bag now. I'm in love.

Meccano

Finally, an actual post about London Fashion Week! This is probably the weirdest selection of designers ever, but here are just a couple of shows that caught my eye (it's probably best to click on the pictures to make them bigger)...

LUELLA. I didn't think this was quite as good as their last few collections, but still gorgeous. All the heart shapes, polka dots, bows... And Alexa Chung has worn that last dress already!

LOUISE GRAY. New to LFW I believe, but definitely 'one to watch'. It's all so fun and colourful, and that first dress is just epic!

CHRISTOPHER KANE. Definitely really different to Luella and Louise Gray, but still amazing. The gingham and lace and everything together; beautiful yet dark at the same time.

Of course that's only three, a few more favourites were Erdem, Clements Ribeiro and Vivienne Westwood (: I have quite a few ideas for future posts so keep checking back! x

Why don't you open up real tall, I am ready I am ready for a fall

I forgot how much I'm in love with Alexa Chung. I've only ever read Harper's Bazaar once, but this issue looks pretty good. Need to post OTHER celebrities in future though.

As you might be able to tell from the Hot Chip lyrics, am freakishly happy after a whole day of Spanish. How was your monday? x

The sun will rise, even if you don't happen to be there

AOnce again sorry I am such a terrible blogger, haven't posted in almost a week now. I officially HATE maths exams! Anyway I was just going to ask what you thought of this, i.e. what I've been looking at whilst I should have been revising! For £25, I thought it was pretty cute! I wasn't sure if I could get a picture, so here's a link...

Finally here's another slice of Alexa Chung goodness for you, and just incase I haven't told you before... I LOVE GRIMMY!

Mi dispiace

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, spent the last few days of my holiday going crazy doing artwork for school, and weather has been awful here so couldn't really take any pictures. Was back in today but hasn't been great, hopefully a few little things should sort themselves out soon. I will post pictures sometime this week too, I really need to get a decent picture of myself on here. For the profile and stuff, I'm not vain. Honest!

Isn't Alexa Chung beautiful? I absolutely love her style.
