I really can't believe I am off to Thailand tomorrow! I probably won't be able to post for a while so here is a little list of things...

A film I watched recently

is Le Fils de l'epicier (The Grocers Son). Sadly I couldn't find very many stills online but it is honestly one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen. The main character is gorgeous too ♥

An album I've listened to recently

is Two Suns by Bat for Lashes. Well actually I bought it a while ago, and I just haven't got around to posting it, but it is amazing. I really want to get her debut when I come back, that's meant to be even better.

A photo I took recently

on the train. If I'm honest I really haven't taken enough pictures recently but I found this earlier when clearing my camera. It was taken whilst on the train back from my boyfriend's house last weekend (hence the grubbiness), which is always a sad journey, but that bit there is really beautiful.

A book I'm reading

Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. Even though I'm only half way through and probably too young to understand it properly, I can honestly say that irregardless of its storyline, it's the most beautifully written book I've ever read.

And finally

a pretty dress because this post wouldn't be complete without one aha! You can get this in three colours, but I think the blue's my favourite, I really want to get it when I get home! Oh and it's from Topshop, obviously!

What have you been up to this weekend ? Remarkably for me I've done rather a lot. Yesterday I had extra Spanish exam prep in the morning, then in the afternoon I went into Plymouth for a little bit with one of my best friends, Fiona. I didn't buy an awful lot as I went in mainly to buy a mothers day present, and I'm trying not to buy any clothes until at least Easter which so far has proven to be very dificult! Saying that, my birthday is in just over a month, so I managed to have a good look around Topshop, and I've now got a few things to start off my wishlist. I LOVE this one dress from the website.



Also on friday I picked up a copy of Teen Vogue and I have to say this month the editorials were amazing. I know they always are, but the main editorial was quite simply beautiful. I loved the 'enchanted solider' one too, it was all military-inspired but with some florals as well, basically everything I am obsessed with right now! I tried to recreate this one look so maybe I'll post that and the editorial photos next week, if anyone's interested? Otherwise here are some of my favourite shots from the first one...

All the while I was dreaming of revelry

What have you all been up to this weekend? I wasn't very well most of the time, but I thought I should show you the dress I bought whilst on my (very quick!) shopping trip yesterday. It's from topshop and is in this amazing floral pattern, sort of like scribbles, with a zip going up the front. Oh and I'm wearing it with jeans because it is very, very short. Even on me, and I am quite a midget! I'm sorry about the pictures, I hate 'mirror pictures' but I was feeling pretty ill so I'm hoping that counts as an excuse for the unoriginality!?

I've just realised this is my tenth post. Doesn't sound like a lot, but I'm pretty pleased with that seeing as I thought my first would be my last! I refound Zoe's blog, so I think I'll post my 'award' tomorrow, or sometime within the next few days. Also I've been thinking about a few (hopefully!) more interesting posts I'll be doing sometime soon... how incredibly exciting. Just curb your enthusiasm. Anyways better be off now, I have quite a bit on at school tomorrow, including a nice telling off probably. Now thats something to look forward to. Hope you all have a nice week x
