Gamma Ray

I've been tagged, THREE TIMES (:

Firstly, the lovely Lottie gave me a Kreativ blogger award! Thanks, and visit her blog, it's pretty neat (:

This award requires the blogger to list 7 interesting things about themselves and then pass the award on to 7 other 'kreativ bloggers'.

1. My name is actually Kate, and not Katie or Katherine or Kathryn or Kaitlyn or anything. That's not really interesting, but I'm the only person I know like that.

2. At school people call me cafe. I'm not quite sure why, this random guy just used to call me that.

3. At the moment I'm reading Lord of The Flies. My favourite book is probably The Perks of Being A Wallflower or The Catcher In the Rye though. I read quite a lot these days. I'm a bit of a geek.

4. I've been learning the violin since I was four., and the piano quite a while as well I guess. I really want to learn the guitar though. And the harp. And learn how to sing, properly.

5. I've never broken a bone. When I was little I could dislocate my arm really easily though.

6. I have a GCSE in Italian, and hopefully come August 27th, one in Spanish as well. Next year I'll study French. I like languages.

7. I can front somersault, handspring and barani on my trampoline. Other than that, I have no athletic ability whatsoever. That was random.

I'm going to pass this award on to Roz, Amelia, Dapper Kid, Demi, Becca, Winnie and Rosie.

Also, Kait tagged me to say six things that make me happy...

1. My boyfriend.
2. People watching.
3. Raspberries, and eating them like Amelie.
4. Painting my nails bright colours. At the moment my fingers are cobalt blue and my toes are coral. Barry M is a king.
5. Corsodyl mouthwash, the red stuff I regularly steal from my parents. It tastes like licorice, you know.
6. DVD box sets. My sister and I watched almost a whole series of friends this morning.

I'm going to tag Zoe, Heleen and Carocream.

Finally, I got sent an award from Wonderlander!

It's a lemonade stand award, thanks so much! I have to tag twelve people now, so here are twelve lovely blogs you should all check out...

Thanks everyone! x

P.S. I thought some of you might enjoy this...

  1. I like that your name is just Kate. Simple and pretty. Congrats on all your awards! Great job.
I'm really excited to see that movie, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass are two of my favorite books!

  2. thank you ever so much :) and wow that film trailer is getting me even more excited about it, i don't think i can wait until 2010 <3

  3. Wow, i'm all excited about the film now. It looks amazing!
and woah, you got a whole load of awards!
My name was supposed to be just Millie, but my dad thought that would be a terrible name if I became Prime-minister or something. It's caused a whole lot of trouble, and now I have to write Melissa on my GCSEs even though that isn't really my name.
Also, I love languages too! Although music isn't my forte. After 7 years of learning piano, i managed to get 101 in my grade 2. I think i'm better at singing though :)
Is Lord of the Flies good? I have to read it for English next year.
Hope you're having a good summer.

  5. Ohhh thankyou for the award, that's so sweet of you! :) xxxx

  6. Thanks for the award! Very sweet of you.

Oh, you're so lucky being able to do all those things on the trampoline. Trampolining is so much fun, but I'm afraid to try any tricks!

  7. Hi lovely!
Thank you SO much, it's so sweet and i feel really flattered!

    Love your blog too, dear!

Thanks and i will pass it in my next pist!

And thanks so much! That was really nice of you..
That was some interesting facts there.. and I love the catcher in the rye too! Out of interest, have you read To Kill a Mockingbird?
And Alice in Wonderland looks really good. Definitely something to see when it comes out..

  10. Cafe?! What an odd nickname. And I totally wish I could play the piano! Haha I always end up eating raspberries off my fingers too (obviously with Hula Hoops too!). Gah, totally excited about Alice In Wonderland!! And thank you so so much for passing the award my way dear :) Hope you're having a beautiful weekend.

  11. I love The Perks and The Catcher in the Rye. I am really into books from a slightly dysfuntional male perspective. JD Salinger is amazing and I would suggest Franny and Zoey. Also The Curious Case of the Dog in the Nightime.
