Dreaming, dreaming is free.

I'm sorry I'm not going to be posting very often for a few weeks, I've got a Thai exchange student coming next week, its my birthday on tuesday, and i have spanish and science exams very soon, so that means lots of revision! Basically I will be busy busy busy. Today I went out shopping with my two best friends and had a picnic as a sort of mini birthday party, but later on tonight I'm going out to a house party which should be good (: What are you up to this weekend?

Aaanyways now here are the answers to the questions you sent a few weeks ago.

Why did you start blogging? from Ariella

Basically I'd been reading blogs for a few months and I
just thought I should really start writing one of my own, to give something back as it were (cheesy as that sounds!).  I wanted to be able to post about things I like and get some feedback from others!

What are your dreams? from Heidi-Ann

I don't really know if they're my dreams, but in the future I want to get into a good university and study english or foreign languages, after that I'm afraid I don't really know what I want to do! Just being surrounded by family and friends and having a family of my own would be good, I guess.

I've taken a few pictures with my polaroid so far, if I work out how to scan them onto my computer, I'll show them to you at some point (:

I hear in my mind all this music, and it breaks my heart, and it breaks my heart

Here is my new flickr favourite, @Maco.  Each one of her pictures is absolutely beautiful.

My polaroid came today, I'm so excited about using it!

Perfect weather to fly

I wore my new skirt today, but annoyingly I forgot to take some pictures. Don't have much time now though so here is a quick Topshop wishlist; just incase any bloggers out there want to buy me a birthday present for next week, haha.

Laugh until you cry and cry until you laugh

I'm back. I know I promised some pictures from my holiday, but I actually didn't take a single one. I had such a great time though, and I got to see some people I haven't seen in absolutely ages.

Tonight I've done a couple hours of manic Spanish revision after I realised that my exam is in two weeks; now I have 11 copies of el medio ambiente stuck randomly around my room. Oh and I bought an old Polaroid 600 from ebay for £12.72, haha. I'm just praying the 'slightly out of date' film will work.

I didn't really get a lot of questions before, but if you have any then tell me now! Hopefully then I'll be able to do a super Q&A post.

PS. If you're wondering, the two photos are ones I took on a trip to the beach last week. Tell me what you think (:

Happy endings, they never bore me.

Thanks for all your feedback on my last post, I'm actually amazed that I got thirtysomething comments!

I'm going away to Cornwall with a few friends for a couple days now though, back soon! Hopefully I'll do a few more interesting posts when I get back, and I promise lots of beach pictures! What do you think of me doing a Q&A post? I don't know if I've got enough readers to really make it worthwhile, but if you have a question, fire away now haha.  Ciao x

You don't know what love is, you just do as you're told

This morning I quite literally attacked an old pair of jeans with a bread knife. Not quite Balmain, but this is how they turned out...

T-shirt - New Look, Necklace - Mum! (probably Accessorize), Jeans - River Island, trashed myself, Blazer - Bershka, Portugal (:

Aaaand I thought I'd tell you I'm now on lookbook. Thanks Bryanboy, ilysm!

And birds were singing, to calm us down

I know you've probably all heard this song already, but I found this video ages ago and only just realised how to upload it! x

PS. Can anyone reccomend a good tripod?

You've got a lovely way with words, must be the way you see the world, the way you see the world.

Right now my parents are in London and I am... stuck here. After a few days of really nice weather, its gone back to being cold and wet and horrible today. Seeing these pictures has made me crave summer so badly! I can't wait!

PS. I am always inspired by streetstyle photos, I know quite a few good sites but if you can think of any more then get in touch (:

I asked you nicely once, I won't do that again

I just realised that was my 20th post. I am really rather happy now.
PS. I'm not actually going to bed now, I just thought this was super cute. If you really want to know, I'm off for a shower, then to go and watch my favourite trashy TV show, 90210 (:

PPS. Keep commenting on the last post!

Why don't you open up real tall, I am ready I am ready for a fall

I forgot how much I'm in love with Alexa Chung. I've only ever read Harper's Bazaar once, but this issue looks pretty good. Need to post OTHER celebrities in future though.

As you might be able to tell from the Hot Chip lyrics, am freakishly happy after a whole day of Spanish. How was your monday? x

If we don't know, somewhere to go, back to the 101

Yesterday I got some bad news, i.e. no Thai visitor for me and probably no visit to Thailand either. The day turned out better than I expected though, I went to go see 'The Boat That Rocked' with my best friend Lynsey, and then out for nachos (:

Spent the rest of the evening updating my iPod and making playlists with stupid titles, so favourite new (well new for me) songs are below. It's all pretty varied tbqh, but tell me what you think, and if any of you know how to get an actual 'playlist' on here that'd be great! The most comments I've got on a post is 14 so far, I'd love to get 20 though!
  • breathe me - sia
  • lua - bright eyes
  • ghosts - ladytron
  • teen lovers - the virgins
  • 101 - albert hammond jr.
  • full moon - the black ghosts
  • a cause des garçons - yelle
  • sad song - au revoir simone
  • don't upset the rhythm -noisettes
  • last of the english roses - peter doherty
  • to build a home - the cinematic orchestra
  • why aren't you dancing? - pull in emergency

That's sad, you didn't win anything

Today is the first day of the Easter holidays, so I've been pretty happy today, doing the best part of nothing and just enjoying the fact I don't have school for another two weeks. Also I have to tell you yesterday I found out that soon I'm going to be having an exchange student from THAILAND! I'm so excited. Anyways this is what I'm wearing today, and out to a party tonight.

shirt dress - topman, vest top - h&m, tights - wherever, belt - primark.

I was really sad to hear about Agyness and Albert splitting up (they were such a beautiful couple!) but it did prompt me to listen to some of Mr. Albert Hammond Jr's music, and I have to say its pretty good. Check him out (: Bye for now x

measure stars in the back yard with a calculator and a ruler

I didn't realise until yesterday that I've had over 1200 clicks and 550 separate visitors, so thanks! A few more followers would be nice though (: Anyways I don't have a lot of time (well, fifteen minutes) before I have to go out, but here are two links I hope you'll like.

The Photographic Dictionary is amazing. I'll let the pictures explain how it works...
abandon - Mikhail Wassmer
doily - Teresa Frausin

kiss - Angus R. Shamal

platform - Peter Devan

no - Christian Brunnstrom

Also atm I'm really into Spotify. It works a bit like, only much faster and much easier to use. You can make your own playlists like on iTunes as well which is rather grand. I think I might post some when I work out how. Currently playing is 'The Lucky One', by Au Revoir Simone. Lovely (:
