At first, when I see you cry

Not a particularly interesting outfit today, but here are my new gladiators I got yesterday, in Matalan! I know I'm gonna be wearing them so much this summer; I'm off to Portugal in just over a month (:

I'm so sad about Michael Jackson, he was truly an AMAZING musician. I don't think there will ever be another person like him. RIP :(

I started out with nothing and I still got most of it left

Just some recent online purchases... finally an american apparel skirt, some cds and a book. Oh and did I tell you I'll be seeing Florence and the Machine this summer? (: x

I love Jack White like a little brother

If you want to know, my weekend has pretty much been going as planned and I guess now I'm about halfway through my book (:

All these pictures are from my new favourite streetstyle blog, the streethearts. There's just something about guys in glasses and trenchcoats, isn't there?

Ok so the last one isn't wearing glasses nor is he wearing a trenchcoat, but hey. He's cute and I loveee the braces! x

Do the D A N C E

Thanks for all your comments, my art exam wasn't too bad in the end, although five hours of not speaking to anyone felt pretty weird!

What are you all up to this weekend? I think all I'm really going to be doing this weekend is reading more of The Catcher In The Rye, drinking a lot of green tea (I have become rather obsessed recently) and possibly writing letters to some of the Thai students, which should be nice (: I guess that leaves me with rather a lot of time for blogging though, so keep checking back folks! x

PS. This is my new favourite blog of the week.

This is the world that we live in

I really can't believe I haven't seen these pictures before, I love Chloë Sevigny!

I know I said my exams were over, but actually I have two mocks left! English next week and art on Friday. I know it's only a mock, but I'm still so nervous about it! It's 5 hours long! x

Bang bang, you're dead

I had such a good weekend, in town two days in a row (: Lying on the grass in the middle of a roundabout, taking pictures and people watching. The people in the second picture are Lynsey and Fiona by the way, and the one after is Lynsey and me.

Also I watched the Virgin Suicides, I don't know if i liked it or not really. The book had a massive effect on me, and in comparison the film didn't really. I liked the boys though, they were pretty cute! x

PS. Only two more followers until fifty!

She's the last of the english, roses

This is really a feeble excuse for a post, but whatever. I had my last exam today (in fact I was nearly half an hour late but that's another story) and now I'm freeeee. Oh and I just realised I now have 14 £2 coins. Thus, am in a pretty good mood! tonight shall consist of this...

... lounging around doing nothing in one of my dad's old shirts, The Virgin Suicides, The Catcher in the Rye, Seasick Steve albums (:

You're supposed to care

I changed things around a bit. I think I prefer it, what about you? I really really want this t-shirt by wildfox right now, though sadly £60 is a small fortune for me atm (I never did get that job). Still I did manage a quick look around the website last night. Aren't these ad campaigns amazing?

This kind of journey just means nothing to me

This weekend was rather nice, today I met a few friends and wandered around for a bit, and sat in this field where the corn was up to our waists and all swishy in the wind. Last night I watched Amelie. I think I must have forgotten how beautiful it was; I think I cried most of the way through. This scene is by far my favourite, it always makes me so happy.

Also yesterday I ordered A Catcher In The Rye and the film adaptation of The Virgin Suicides (I LOVED the book). I'm really excited, how geeky is that? Now I'm off to watch The Apprentice, I really want Yasmina to win! x

I told you to be patient, I told you to be fine

Happy weekend! Only one exam left now, rather happy atm (:

I know this is really a feeble excuse for a post, but it did make me laugh and I had to had to had to share it. Printed bags like this are so much nicer than t-shirts, no? I could do a pretty cool DIY one, if I could actually come up with something vaguely interesting/witty/relevant to write. Any ideas?

P.S. I've just become obsessed with Bon Iver. Will do a proper music post soon. Remind me.
